Alpine Freestyle Program |
The 2006-2007 freestyle season will include a
full calendar of competitions. Athletes and their
parents will be able to choose which events they
wish to attend. The Eastern Freestyle Division,
which in sanctioned by USSA, will play host to the
events we will be competing in. A competition
license will be required if you wish to compete in
these events. For those who choose not to compete,
training at Bromley will be held as usual.
Training sessions will focus on basic skiing skills
in the early season. This will allow for graceful
development into our later season focus, which will
include beginner to advanced mogul
techniques(including jumping into moguls), as well
as beginner to advanced slopestyle and big air.
Training for this discipline will include the use of
the park on Lord's Prayer.
All athletes will ski together with the coaching
staff in order to develop a group of tightly knit
friends who are able to learn from each other as
well as their coaches. Athlete's ages should play no
role in this process.
